About our Summer Internship Program

RF-SMART's Summer Internship Program gives you real work, real responsibility, and direct access to leaders across the organization. This is a 12-week, full-time experience—not a resume line item, but a launchpad.

As a Product Strategy Intern, you'll join our Product Strategy & Management team, which delivers high-value product capabilities through customer discovery, market research, data analysis, and strategic planning. You'll contribute from day one: building tools that improve team efficiency, prototyping solutions for targeted projects, and owning meaningful deliverables. You'll also optimize internal AI tools and automate idea intake processes in Aha!. All of this will be done through cross-functional collaboration that will provide you with opportunities to present your work to leadership.

What You'll Do

Alongside your project work, approximately 5–6 hours each week are built into your schedule for structured development. These two tracks run simultaneously.

Build and Deliver:

Internal tools that improve team efficiency

Prototypes for targeted product initiatives

Data dashboards using existing tools to support decision-making

Optimizations to internal AI tools

Automation of Aha! idea intake

Grow and Connect:

Discover your natural talents through a CliftonStrengths assessment

Develop presentation skills, communication, and professional presence through workshops

Collaborate on a group innovation project that spans the full 12 weeks

Participate in volunteer events, National Intern Day, and company-wide activities

What You Bring:

Foundation in JavaScript, CSS, and HTML

Currently enrolled in a degree program at the time of the internship

Considered a Junior or Senior by credit hours

Available to work 40 hours per week in-office

Eligible to work in the United States for any employer without future sponsorship

Experience with databases, APIs, Python, and/or Node is a plus

Experience leveraging AI to solve problems is a plus

Program Details

Duration: May 10, 2027 – July 30, 2027 (12 weeks)

Hours: 40 hours per week

Pay: $25/hour

Location: Jacksonville, FL

Open to undergraduate students, graduate students, and May/Spring graduates
