This position is part of the Agency Support Operations, Government Publishing Office in Washington, District of Columbia.

Duties

  • Develop, analyze and manage the organization’s budget, ensuring that resources are allocated efficiently and effectively.
  • Plan, develop, and implement projects related to facility management.
  • Lead and coordinate cross-functional teams to deliver projects within agreed upon timelines and budgets.
  • Develop internal policies and procedures for the facilities division.

Qualifications

To qualify for the Program Analyst, PG -0343-12, you must meet the following requirements: To minimally qualify for the PG-12 level, you must have one (1) full year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-11 level in the Federal service that equipped you with the specialized experience to perform successfully the duties of the position. Specialized experience include: - Prepare statement of work (SOW) and review contracts. - Review project expenses. - Monitor projects and progress related to facility management. - Track and report project metrics, including budget status, deliverables, and risks. - Apply analytical and evaluative methods and techniques. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community, student, social). Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment. You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. All qualification requirements must be met by the closing date of this announcement (10/01/2026) to be considered.

Education

Substitution of education in lieu of specialized experience may not be used for this grade level.
