RHEL Linux Support Engineer (all gender)

YOU…

• •provide 2nd and 3rd level support for Linux-based R&D and customer workstation environments 
• •troubleshoot and resolve complex issues related to RHEL, hardware, virtualization, networking and software installations 
• •analyze and drive resolution of customer and internal escalation cases ("Yellow Flag" investigations) 
• •support software releases, platform updates and integration activities 
• •work closely with R&D, platform and infrastructure teams to identify root causes and implement sustainable solutions 
• •maintain workstation configurations and ensure compliance with platform standards 
• •create and maintain technical documentation, knowledge base articles and troubleshooting guides 
• •contribute to automation initiatives that improve operational efficiency and user experience 

YOU…

• •have successfully completed studies in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering or a comparable qualification 
• •have Experience supporting large-scale Linux workstation environments 
• •are familiar with ticketing systems and incident management processes 
• •have experience with configuration management and automation tools 
• •understand software development workflows and release processes 
• •possess strong hands-on experience with Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) 
• •have proven Linux troubleshooting and system administration skills 
• •have a good understanding of virtualization technologies and enterprise workstation environments 
• •Experience with Bash, Python, or similar scripting languages 
• •Solid networking knowledge including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP and security fundamentals 
• •communicate professionally in English; German language skills are considered an advantage
