Job Description:

Conservation Programme Management

  • Plan, coordinate and implement biodiversity conservation, habitat restoration, reforestation, ecological rehabilitation and ecosystem protection initiatives.
  • Conduct environmental needs assessments and identify opportunities for new conservation and nature-based solutions programmes.
  • Support the development and implementation of climate resilience, carbon sequestration and ecosystem restoration initiatives where applicable.
  • Monitor programme performance and recommend improvements to maximise environmental and social outcomes.

Environmental Partnerships & Stakeholder Engagement

  • Establish and maintain partnerships with environmental NGOs, universities, research institutions, government agencies, sustainability organisations and community groups.
  • Coordinate multi-stakeholder conservation projects involving local communities, volunteers and programme partners.
  • Support knowledge sharing and collaboration to scale conservation outcomes and best practices.

Environmental Education & Community Engagement

  • Coordinate environmental awareness, education and outreach programmes focused on sustainability, biodiversity and environmental stewardship.
  • Organise volunteer initiatives, school programmes, community conservation activities and public engagement campaigns.
  • Promote community participation in environmental protection and sustainable resource management.

Monitoring, Evaluation & Reporting

  • Develop programme KPIs and track environmental, social and community impact indicators.
  • Prepare programme reports, dashboards, environmental impact assessments and management papers.
  • Support sustainability and ESG reporting through collection, verification and analysis of programme data.
  • Monitor programme risks and recommend mitigation measures.

Financial & Administrative Management

  • Monitor programme budgets and expenditures to ensure implementation within approved allocations.
  • Support procurement, vendor management and administrative requirements.
  • Maintain programme records, agreements and governance documentation.

Job Requirement

  • Bachelor's Degree in one of the following or a related discipline: Sustainability, Environmental Science, Environmental Management, Forestry, Ecology, Biodiversity Conservation, Climate Change Studies, Sustainable Development & Natural Resource Management or other related disciplines.
  • Minimum 3–5 years of relevant working experience in environmental conservation, biodiversity management, sustainability, CSR, foundation management or community development.
  • Experience managing programmes related to flora and fauna conservation , habitat restoration or ecosystem management.
  • Experience coordinating environmental projects involving multiple stakeholders including government agencies, NGOs and local communities.
  • Knowledge of biodiversity conservation principles, environmental regulations and sustainable development practices.
  • Able to work independently with minimal supervision while managing multiple projects simultaneously.
