  • Cleanroom / Systemingenieur Reinraumtechnik (m/f/d) Join ESMC at a
  • pivotal moment as we build one of Europe’s most advanced
  • semiconductor manufacturing facilities. As a System Engineer
  • Cleanroom, you will play a key role in bringing critical cleanroom
  • systems into operation and ensuring their long-term performance,
  • reliability and compliance. This position offers the unique
  • opportunity to combine technical ownership with the excitement of a
  • greenfield project in an international high-tech environment. Tasks
  • Take ownership of cleanroom-related systems and ensure their reliable,
  • safe and compliant operation. Monitor and optimise system performance
  • to maintain cleanroom conditions and maximise system availability.
  • Lead troubleshooting activities and drive sustainable solutions
  • through structured root cause analysis. Coordinate maintenance
  • activities and collaborate closely with technicians and external
  • service providers. Support the transition from fab construction into
  • stable manufacturing operations. Identify and implement continuous
  • improvement initiatives to enhance reliability, efficiency and
  • operational performance. Profile Must Have: Bachelor’s or Master’s
  • degree in Mechanical Engineering, Facility Engineering, Environmental
  • Engineering or a related technical discipline. Several years of
  • professional experience working with cleanroom environments or
  • comparable highly controlled technical facilities. Experience in the
  • operation, commissioning or optimization of complex technical systems.
  • A structured and analytical approach to troubleshooting and
  • problem-solving. Strong communication skills and the ability to
  • collaborate effectively with technicians, service providers and
  • cross-functional teams. Fluent German and English language skills
  • (minimum C1 level in both languages). Willingness to participate in
  • international training assignments during the onboarding phase (up to
  • 3 months in Taiwan). Nice to Have: Prior experience in semiconductor
  • manufacturing or related high-tech industries. Deep knowledge of
  • cleanroom technologies, including Airborne Molecular Contamination
  • (AMC) and Air Pollution Control (APC) systems. Experience with
  • reliability and problem-solving methodologies such as RCA, FMEA or 8D.
  • Previous experience in a system ownership or operational
