Travel Plaza Cashier

Job Description:

As a Travel Plaza Cashier at Onvo, you will provide exceptional customer service and efficiently processing transactions for fuel, convenience store items, and food service.

Job Responsibilities

• * Greet customers warmly and assist them with their purchases in a friendly and efficient manner.
• * Accurately process cash, credit, and debit card transactions using a POS system.
• * Handle cash carefully, provide correct change, and reconcile cash drawers at the beginning and end of each shift.
• * Scan and bag merchandise, ensuring correct pricing and product identification.
• * Maintain a clean and organized checkout area, including shelves and displays.
• * Assist with stocking shelves and ensuring products are readily available for customers.
• * Monitor fuel pumps and assist customers with fueling inquiries or issues.
• * Respond to customer questions and resolve complaints promptly and professionally.
• * Adhere to all company policies and procedures, including those related to age-restricted sales (e.g., tobacco, alcohol, lottery tickets).
• * Collaborate with team members to maintain a positive and productive work environment.

Job Qualifications

• * Basic math skills and ability to accurately handle cash transactions.
• * Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• * Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
• * Availability to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• * Must be able to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 pounds.
• * A positive attitude and a commitment to providing excellent customer service.

Shifts:

1st, 2nd, and 3rd shifts available
