Travel Plaza Cashier

Job Description:

As a Travel Plaza Cashier at Onvo, you will be providing excellent customer service and efficiently processing transactions for fuel, convenience store items, and food service.

• Responsibilities
• * Greet customers warmly and provide friendly, efficient service.
• * Operate a cash register and POS system to accurately process sales transactions, including cash, credit/debit cards, and other payment methods.
• * Handle cash responsibly, ensuring accurate change and proper reconciliation at the beginning and end of shifts.
• * Assist customers with inquiries, locate products, and provide information about promotions or services.
• * Maintain a clean and organized checkout area, including stocking shelves and rotating merchandise.
• * Monitor fuel pumps and assist customers with fueling needs as required.
• * Adhere to all company policies and procedures, including those related to age-restricted sales (e.g., tobacco, alcohol, lottery).
• * Resolve customer complaints or escalate issues to management as needed.
• * Perform basic cleaning duties within the store and restock merchandise.
• * Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations and customer satisfaction.

• Qualifications
• * Previous cash handling or customer service experience a plus.
• * Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• * Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• * Basic mathematical skills for cash handling.
• * Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 pounds.
• * Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• * Must be at least 18 years of age due to requirements for selling age-restricted products.
• * A positive attitude and a commitment to providing excellent customer service.

Full Time and Part Time Available
